DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) Business to Business Service
Easton DSL offers high-quality, high-performance broadband Internet access for small and midsize businesses. DSL eliminates the hassles associated with dial-up connections, and gives you access to e-mail and the Internet just by opening your web browser. Features and Benefits of DSL:
Our business-class DSL router can connect up to 100 users with one DSL line. DSL can also connect remote offices, brance offices, and telecommuters to your company's Local Area Network (LAN), enabling users to work with the same efficiency as they could at "Headquarters." Service AvailabilityEaston DSL has two service types available, SDSL and IDSL. ADSL service is not available since it is primarily a residential service. SDSL is a symmetrical service, which means that the upload speed is the same as the download speed. Available in various speeds up to 1.5 Mbps, symmetrical lines are ideal for businesses looking for fractional T-1 speeds to support applications like Web hosting or sending large files. IDSL is a symmetrical service that can deliver high-speed data communications up to 144 Kbps. With a greater distance capability, IDSL is ideal for businesses located slightly outside the reach of traditional DSL.
*Speed comparisons are based on the following
throughput comparisons: 32 Kbps for 56 Kbps modem and 320 Kbps for 768 Kbps
DSL.
