Netscape Instructions
Netscape E-Mail Setup
  1. Open Netscape Communicator, click on "Window" and then choose "Mail & Newsgroups."
  2. Once the mail portion of Netscape opens, select "Edit" then "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings".
  3. When the "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" screen comes up, click on the "Add Account" button.
  4. Select "Email Account" then click "Next."
  5. At the Identity Screen enter "Your Name" and your "Email Address." Then click "Next."
  6. Make sure "POP" is selected for the type of incoming mail server. Enter "pop3.eastontelecom.com" in the "Incoming Server" section. Then click "Next."
  7. Enter your "Email Address" in the "User Name" section. Click "Next."
  8. Enter the name you want to call this account in the "Account Name" section. This can be anything you choose but please name it something that you will recognize if needed in the future. Click "Next."
  9. Congratulations! Check the account settings on the "Congratulations" page. If you are sure they are correct, click "Finish."
  10. Note: You will need to restart Netscape before you can start sending and receiving e-mail.
