Eudora (v.5.2) E-Mail Setup

When you open Eudora, go to "Tools" and then "Options".

In the "Options" window, select "Getting Started."

In the "Real Name" field, type in the name that you would like people to see when they receive
e-mail from you. Example: John Smith.

In the "Return Address" field, enter in your e-mail address as "username@eastontelecom.com".
Please refer to your Easton Connect Internet Access Form for your username. Note: Your username
needs to be entered in all lowercase characters.

In the "Mail Server (Incoming)" field, enter in the name of the POP3 mail server as "pop3.eastontelecom.com".

In the "Login Name" field, enter in your login name as "username@eastontelecom.com".

In the "SMTP Server (Outgoing)" field, enter in the SMTP server as "smtp.eastontelecom.com".

Next, check the "Allow Authentication" box.

Click "OK" to finish.

Note: You will need to restart Eudora (close and reopen) before you can start sending and receiving e-mail.
